Just Read: The Drawing of the Three and The Wastelands.

In my last post I mentioned I just finished The Wastelands by Stephen King. Right after reading the Gunslinger, the first book in the Dark Tower series, I immediately started the second, The Drawing of the Three. Even if I read only three books of it and still don't have the others, I'm completely in love with this series, the characters, and Roland in particular. I definitely recommend it, and if you get really into it, prepare for an emotional rollercoaster. As an added comment on the book, due to not having the fourth, the cliffhanger at the end of The Wastelands is practically killing me. Hopefully I'll get the other books in São Paulo next month.

Currently reading: The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe.

I recently finished the third book of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, The Wastelands. I started this book just today - it's a collection of tales and poems, so I suppose I'll read it along with other books. I've only read a few poems until now, and I hate to say I never really read Edgar Allan Poe before. Then again, my mother dislikes him, he's not exactly her style. She probably wouldn't have let me get books by him before.

Currently reading: The Gunslinger.

I actually just started The Gunslinger by Stephen King, first in the Dark Tower series. I have the three first books of said series, it was all they had of it at the bookstore last time I went there. Hopefully I'll get the rest soon, but while I don't, I have a great number of Anne Rice books to keep me busy. Since school is back stronger than ever, either I'll read more to get my mind off stress, or read less for being too busy. For that, don't expect too many updates here. Not every single book will be written about, unfortunately, but I do what I can.

Currently Reading: It's So Easy.

My books arrived in the mail quite some time ago, and I have already finished the Dirt. Now I happen to be halfway through It's So Easy.
I have to say again that I love Duff's writing, and this book is hard to put down. Through all the ups and downs and more downs, he can tell the stories well and it brings up many emotions in a fan or the occasional random reader. I still haven't read his recommended books, though.
